We are Sonido | Sonamos | Sanamos bringing Healing and Meditation through sound and creating a safe nurturing space for you to journey and explore your inner landscape through the majestic vibrations of ancient instruments.
Sound has been utilized in various cultures for thousands of years as a tool for healing. Whether through the use of mantras as with the Hindis, the Icaros (medicine melodies) of various Indigenous peoples from Central and South America, or Pythagoras' use of interval and frequency, these various techniques all have the same intention: to move us from a place of imbalance to a place of balance.
Our Story
Through our own challenges and struggles with mental and physical health issues, we know that it is possible to recover and create changes that free us from "stuck" behaviour patterns. We understand from our own perspective that sometimes this can seem overwhelming and that is why we set out on a path to help facilitate others to change and grow.

Karen is a fully qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist & Mind Therapist, (Dip ACHMT), Gong Accredited Facilitator and Reiki Practitioner. Karen & Derek have a wealth of experience in the therapeutic environment, coaching and mentoring individuals to grow and develop their potential. Derek has worked extensively at the Findhorn Foundation and in Italy with Astro Shamanic practices.

We both work in the Corporate Environment but there is always a pull to work on an interpersonal level helping people. We as individuals and also as a couple have studied and worked through different healing modalities and travelled across the globe from UK, Europe and to the Amazon in search of healing and our truth. We are still on that journey!
